Use the Systems IV F70C Stage 1 Corrosion Control replacement cartridge for scale-free boiler water. Steam cooker manufacturers specify that the water quality is required for effective boiler operation and warranty protection. The Systems IV SCP30-2 and SCP30-3 provide quality water for effective steamer operations.

There are two SCP30 steam cooker models available, as well as installation and maintenance requirements to meet manufacturer water quality specifications. Please see the following:

• For one Compartment steam cooker use model SCP30-2
• For two or three-compartment steam cooker use model SCP30-3

Installation

The Systems IV model SCP30 must be connected to the boiler only and not the condenser. This requires two water lines:

One water line from the water treatment system to the boiler and a second water line to the condenser is required. Do not treat the water going to the condenser as the SCP30 will not operate correctly.

Maintenance

When you purchase a new SCP30 system it will come with a single-stage 1 cartridge (F70C) and two-stage 2 cartridges (Two each of the AB412R-2 or AB412R-3 filters depending on the SCP30 model ordered). The replacement cartridges can also be ordered in replacement packs or can be ordered individually. The SCP30R-2 is for the SCP30-2 and the SCP30R-3 is for the SCP30-2 system and is for the replacement of all 3 cartridges that were shipped with the initial system. They can also be ordered individually with the F70C being used in both systems as the stage 1 corrosion control, and the AB412R-2 as the stage two-scale control replacement for the SCP30-2 and the AB412R-3 as the stage two-scale control replacement for the SCP30-3.
